Capitol Technology University was named one of the 2020 Best of the Best Top Veteran-Friendly Companies, Top Supplier Diversity Programs, Top Government & Law Enforcement Agencies, and Top Veteran-Friendly Schools by U.S. Veterans Magazine (USVM).

Capitol Technology University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Columbia Southern University (CSU) to increase access to high-quality, in-demand education to ambitious students. This MOU allows graduates of CSU’s Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health degree direct admission into Capitol Tech’s PhD in Health and Safety program. Credits earned by students through CSU’s M.A. degree will transfer toward Capitol Tech’s fully online, research-based PhD.

The newly launched, Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Critical Infrastructure Community (CIC), will host its first event, “Cocktails & Conversation” on August 19. The event will allow participants to join this bustling community at the ground-floor.

Recognizing the essential nature of CyberSecurity in critical infrastructure, Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) announces the creation of our first industry community, the WiCyS Critical Infrastructure Community.

This month, Capitol Technology University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the District of Columbia chapter of Black Girls CODE, an organization that support girls’ involvement in STEM fields. In addition to this partnership, Capitol Tech is hosting a Black Girls CODE Cyber Event on June 25. 

Capitol Technology University and Aerospace Village, a fellow non-profit organization of dedicated researchers in all aspects of aerospace security, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form a mentorship program and collaborate during DEFCON 28 on August 6-9, 2020.

Capitol Technology University strives to provide access, opportunity, and success to students, faculty, and staff of all backgrounds by fostering an inclusive campus environment. Recent events which displayed racial injustice have deeply affected members of our campus community from all races, nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic strata.  

It is with profound sorrow that Capitol Technology University announces the passing of Dr. H. Judith Jarrell, an eternal supporter of the university and pillar of this community.

Congratulations to everyone for a successful spring semester! While we look toward a future in which we know COVID-19 will remain a reality, we reflect on the lessons we’ve learned during the transition to online learning while we plan our safe return to campus in the fall.
