In 2023, the US federal government outlined an approach to implementing artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure its safe, secure, and trustworthy development. There are four key focus areas: Secure Design, Development, Deployment, Operation & Maintenance.
Multiple organizations, both inside and outside the Federal Government, have been researching AI and working to develop guidelines for its use.
This webinar, presented by Dr. Ron Martin, will discuss companion publications released by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). These publications, and the research they represent, will impact the federal government, private industry, supporting contractors, and the international community.
Dr. Martin will look at both the impact of federal AI guidelines, and how they will influence contractors working on Federal projects, private industry, and university instruction programs. And because U.S. Government initiatives have a world-wide impact, He will also consider the international implications for AI utilization.
The 60-minute webinar concludes with a moderated live question-and-answer period.
Capitol Technology University offers the webinar as a complimentary informational service. This webinar offers a Certificate of Attendance.
