According to sustainability.com, the Scandinavian nation of Norway is the “most sustainable country in the world.” Some 95% of its electricity comes from clean hydropower. It leads the world in the number of electric cars per capita, and practices what is known as a circular economy: "A model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended. In practice, it implies reducing waste to a minimum.” (Source: European Parliament)

In this webinar, Norwegian sustainability expert and author Aslak Molvær will look at the Nordic approach to sustainability, and how it is integrated into the Scandinavian societal ideal of harmony and balance. He will discuss what Norway is doing, and why their model works so successfully. He will also look at ways the model can be improved, and how it compares to American sustainability efforts.

The 60-minute webinar concludes with a moderated live question-and-answer period.

Capitol Technology University offers the webinar as a complimentary informational service. This webinar offers a Certificate of Attendance.
