Historians tell us we are currently in the "Fourth Industrial Revolution," meaning we are experiencing a significant change in how things have been done. This time, the revolution is digital transformation, which is not limited to industry but impacts nearly everyone, nearly everywhere.
Many would say that the leading edge of this digital transformation is happening in the US Department of Defense. The nation faces threats from multiple sources, including nation-states actively opposing the US. We must maintain a battlefield and artificial intelligence (AI) advantage, even as China, Russia, and other entities develop their own AI for military purposes. Our National Defense Strategy must factor in digital transformation if the country is to counteract these threats.
Effective digital transformation adoption and implementation is a priority in the Department of Defense (DoD). This overarching strategy for the US government has led the DoD to develop multiple strategies covering Digital Modernization, the Cloud, Cyber, Data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This webinar, presented by data scientist and Capitol Technology University professor Dr. Donovan Wright, will discuss these strategies and examine the need for additional strategies covering Quantum Computing and Digital Transformation.
Because digital transformation is not simply impacting the US Government but has far-reaching implications for business, industry, and academia, the session will be helpful to anyone currently working in the IT world and looking to develop digital strategies.
The 60-minute webinar concludes with a moderated live question-and-answer period.
Capitol Technology University offers the webinar as a complimentary informational service. This webinar offers a Certificate of Attendance.
