On January 20, 2025, President Trump rescinded former President Biden’s Executive Order (EO) 14110. The full ramifications of these actions are unknown. However, many resources continue to be available to the public and private sectors, where enterprise stakeholders can evaluate AI vulnerabilities and plan to mitigate them. In this webinar, Dr. Ronald Martin will look at resources available from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO).

  • NIST has an AI practice area that aims to cultivate trust in the design, development, use, and governance of AI technologies and systems in ways that enhance safety and security and improve quality of life. NIST focuses on improving measurement science, technology, standards, and related tools.
  • CISA Cybersecurity Advisories provide in-depth reports covering specific cybersecurity issues, often including threat actor tactics, techniques, procedures, indicators of compromise, and mitigations.
  • GAO is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. It examines how taxpayer dollars are spent and provides Congress and federal agencies with objective, nonpartisan, fact-based information to help the government save money and work more efficiently. The GAO has conducted studies of AI management within the U.S. government to help guide a coordinated, government-wide approach to the development and safe, responsible of its use.
