Dr. Ilia Kolochenko

Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is a Swiss jurist, author and cybersecurity expert with over 15 years of professional experience in information security auditing and cybercrime investigation.

As a lawyer admitted to the DC Bar in Washington, DC, Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is a Partner and Cybersecurity Practice Lead at Platt Law LLP, where he advises corporate clients on data protection, cybersecurity and privacy law. Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is also the Chief Architect & CEO at ImmuniWeb, a global application security company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The company serves over 1,000 enterprise customers around the globe, being a recipient of numerous industry awards and recognitions for practical use of Machine Learning and AI in cybersecurity.

Being an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity & Cyber Law at Capitol Technology University, Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is also a CLE Faculty Member at the DC Bar teaching “Cybersecurity for Lawyers and Law Firms” CLE (Continuous Legal Education) course.

Dr. Ilia Kolochenko earned his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Webster University Geneva, an MS in Criminal Justice (Cybersecurity & Cybercrime Investigation), from Boston University, MLS from Washington University in St. Louis, an LLM (Master of Laws) in Technology Law from the University of Edinburgh, and PhD in Computer Science from Capitol Technology University. He is currently pursuing his second LLM in Cyber, Intelligence and National Security (CINS) at Geroge Mason University.
