Dr. Scott Raetzman

Dr. Scott Raetzman is an engineer with over 20 years of experience in Flight Test Engineering. He has worked for Sikorsky Aircraft, Northrop Grumman, and currently General Atomics. Raetzman is General Atomics’ Chief of Test and is responsible for all testing, verification, and certification verification efforts for the MQ-9B product line. The General Atomics MQ-9b SkyGuardian is an unmanned aerial vehicle capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations. Raetzman has always worked on the cutting edge of technology, driving state of the air developments in the aviation industry. He has worked multiple deployments working with the user (warfighter), developing mission scenarios and use cases supporting the missions the aircraft was designed to perform.

Dr. Raetzman earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MBA and an MS in Management from Albertus Magnus College, and a Ph.D. in Aviation from Capitol Technology University.
