Students live in apartments from their first day on campus, which means you don't have to wait until you're an upperclassman to enjoy freedom from stuffy dorm rooms.
Housing Eligibility
All registered, full-time students are eligible to live in the residence facilities. Housing is single-sex and apartments accessible for people with disabilities are available. Capitol guarantees housing for continuing students who meet the April 15th deadline. New students guaranteed housing application deadline is May 1st.
New Residence Halls
The new residential halls will open in September 2018, for the start of fall semester courses. The apartment style residence hall will house 222 students and will include a fitness center and lounges. There will be 138 single bedrooms, 6 double bedrooms (12 beds) and 24 triple bedrooms (72 beds).
Each apartment has:
- a large shared bathroom
- a combined living, dining and kitchen area
- available Wifi
- a fully furnished kitchen including an electric range, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and disposal
- air conditioning and individual climate control
Common areas and bedrooms are furnished. Each bedroom will include closets, desks, chairs, beds and dressers. All rooms feature wired and wireless Internet access, as well as cable TV. Residents also have access to an on-site laundry area.
