Report: Capitol's online master's in cyber is among most affordable

Capitol Technology University has long been recognized for the quality of its cyber and information security programs, earning repeat designations by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence.

Now, a new report has found that Capitol’s online master’s program in cyber is also one of the most affordable options available in the information assurance field.

The findings, compiled by ComputerScienceDegreeHub.com and based on information in the NCES College Navigator database, place Capitol in the top ten nationwide, ahead of its nearby competitor, the University of Maryland’s University College.

A summary of the report noted that Capitol maps its cybersecurity curriculum to the NSA’s cybersecurity defense knowledge units. For students, that means confidence that the courses they take are up to date and will prepare them to take on today’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges.

It also highlighted Capitol’s commitment to providing higher education opportunities for active duty military as well as veterans. The university is a member of the Yellow Ribbon program and p1rovides significant tuition discounts.

These include bachelor’s degrees in  cyber and Information Security, cyber analytics, and management of cyber and information technology, master’s degrees in cyber analytics and cyber and information security, a technical MBA in cybersecurity, and a cybersecurity doctorate.
