Capitol Tech believes you will graduate and earn at least $60,000 a year - or Capitol Tech will assist you in repaying your educational loans. Students enrolling in any of the undergraduate full-time degree programs offered on-ground, and who have at least 60 credits to graduate, are eligible for this program.
What is CAP? The Chargers Assistance Program (CAP) assists Capitol Tech graduates in repaying their student loans. CAP provides a financial safety net that allows students to focus on their academics while in school, and if the student’s income after graduation is modest, assists the graduate in repayment of their loans. Alternative Educational Loans and Parent PLUS loans are also covered by this program based on the graduate's income.
How does CAP work? Students must attend and graduate from Capitol Tech. After graduation, they must work at least three-quarter time (30 hours per week) to receive assistance. If the graduate’s income is below $60,000 per year, the graduate (and their parents) can receive loan repayment assistance in the form of quarterly reimbursements on their student loans.
CAP is free to you! Capitol Tech offers this program along with our Capitol Commitment because we are confident you will succeed after graduation and you will earn at least $60,000 within 18 months of graduating. For more information and to apply, email your Admissions counselor at Capitol Tech.
