Seniors, you are almost there! Just a few exams and you will join the distinguished group of more than 5,000 Capitol alums throughout the world. To celebrate your accomplishments and welcome you as future alumni of the college, the faculty and staff development committee is hosting the Senior Cookout on Friday April 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. outside of the student center (if it rains the event will be held in the student center). All graduating seniors and those graduating with associate degrees, are invited.
In addition to hamburgers, hot dogs and beer, some of your favorite faculty and staff members will be out to wish you good luck in your last few weeks of class. Staff from the advancement office will be on hand to share information with you about graduate programs and the alumni association. And, information will be provided about the senior class gift. In order to consume alcohol, you must be 21 years of age or older and bring a valid drivers license (Attendees will receive 2 tickets to be used for alcohol. There is a strict limit of two alcoholic drinks per attendee). In the event of rain, the cookout will be held inside the student center. Note, this cookout is in addition to the Graduate Reception held Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m., details to follow regarding the reception.
