Capitol Technology University Partners with Cloud Security Alliance for Enhanced Cloud and Cyber Security Training
Laurel, MD – August 19, 2024 – Capitol Technology University is proud to announce a new partnership with Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) to enhance student and professor access to specialized cybersecurity training in cloud services.
Through this partnership, the CSA grants Capitol Tech cybersecurity instructors the opportunity to teach CSA training courseware for the purpose of educating students on cloud security best practices, standards, and protocols. Furthermore, this will prepare students for the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) examination, which is considered the standard of expertise for cloud security. Capitol Tech cybersecurity program professors will receive access to CSA's online self-paced CCSK v5 Foundation Bundle training course. Additionally, Capitol Tech cybersecurity program students who wish to earn their CCSK certificate will be entitled to CSA academic discount pricing.
The CSA operates the most popular cloud security provider certification program, the CSA Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR), a three-tiered provider assurance program of self-assessment, 3rd-party audit and continuous monitoring. CSA also manages the CSA Global Consulting Program, a professional program it developed that allows cloud users to work with a network of trusted security professionals and organizations that offer qualified professional services based on CSA best practices. The CCSK is highly regarded as the benchmark for cloud security expertise, as it provides a comprehensive and unbiased understanding of how to effectively secure data in the cloud.
