Capitol Technology University celebrated its 2024 Commencement ceremony on Sat., April 27, honoring the great accomplishments of our graduates in reaching and achieving their educational goals. Graduates from our university are poised for career advancement and innovation within every industry, with the skills and knowledge to take on new challenges and discover new opportunities in their field of study.
President Bradford L. Sims expressed his pride in our students and offered his sincere congratulations.
“All of us at Capitol Tech are proud of your achievements and we are confident of your success. We know how much hard work you dedicated to each course you took, and because of that effort, this is a day of great celebration. Be very proud of your accomplishment – it is significant and will propel you to reach even greater success...Thank you for having let Capitol Technology University help you to grow and succeed. Our esteemed guest speaker, FOX 5 DC News meteorologist Jennifer Delgado, addressed our graduates with an inspiring speech that highlighted the importance of their impressive achievements at Capitol Tech, which has prepared them as leaders of innovative change for the in-demand careers that lay ahead.
“Capitol Technology University has armed you with the knowledge and experience...You are now the experts to cultivate responsible and ethical AI, grow our space industry, and perhaps most importantly, protect our environment from the rapidly growing danger of climate change. Each one of you has the power to shape and change our future. Capitol Tech is the only independent college in Maryland dedicated to engineering, computer science, information technology, and business. It’s an honor for Maryland to claim this university and you as its newest alumni. Congratulations to all graduates and all you have accomplished. I forecast a bright future to you all.”
