Capitol Technology University celebrated its annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 17th. Board members, sponsors, and staff participated in an 18-hole game at The County Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, MD. This beautiful, sprawling venue is home to the only Arnold Palmer designed course in Maryland and provided much fun and entertainment to participating players.
Teams of golfers came together to play their best rounds on the beautiful green. Dr. Bradford Sims, President of Capitol Tech, was joined by alumni, current and former board members, and representatives from partnering companies and organizations who donated as generous sponsors. The Golf Tournament is an event held annually to raise scholarship funds to help students pursuing their career goals through a degree program at Capitol Tech, as well as a way for alumni and partners to network and reconnect with the university.
The day concluded with a special reception dinner to honor the winners of the competition and to thank sponsors for their generous support of this important cause.
