Capitol College is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its online course offerings in the master of science program in information assurance (MSIA) to more easily accommodate students living in the Western United States.
Classes starting at 10:30 pm EST, or 7:30 pm PST, will be added to the current offerings, which begin at 6:15 pm EST. The new course will be available starting in the Fall 2012 semester. Students starting in Fall 2012 will be able to complete the entire degree program during these convenient time slots, and will be able to complete the program in two years on a part-time basis.
The master of science in information assurance is a 36-credit graduate program designed to meet the growing demand for highly skilled professionals in the specialty field of information assurance. Students gain a comprehensive education completing the 24-credit core curriculum while specializing their studies with 12 credits of electives from the areas of network security engineering, information assurance management or wireless security.
MSIA graduates are prepared for careers as information systems security officers, information security analysts, administrators and consultants, risk managers and auditors, chief technical officers, chief information officers and many more.
Capitol’s master’s courses are offered exclusively online with a unique delivery - real-time, live streaming audio. The courses provide the convenience of online learning with the stimulation of a classroom experience.
