Suzanne Hall
Adjunct Professor
AviationSue hall is an adjunct professor with Capitol Technology University’s aviation program. Professor Hall has been involved in aviation for nearly 40 years. Her U.S. Air Force career spanned 26 years as an aircrew member and maintenance officer. Since retirement, she has been the administrator and co-manager of a flying club/school with 9 airplanes and over 70 active members. Her responsibilities included tracking aircraft maintenance, bringing on new members/students, working with instructors, finances, and monitoring the flying schedule to ensure optimum utilization of all aircraft.
At Capitol Tech, Professor Hall teaches our AVT-101 Aviation History and AVT-201 Air Traffic Control Systems courses. When she is not teaching, she enjoys flying and traveling.
Current advancements in her field include drones, which are always improving, as well as other aircraft technology and jobs in the aviation industry.
An inspirational quote she follows is: “Every take-off is optional, every landing is mandatory.”
Some advice she offers to her students is: Learning to fly is hard, work together and help each other out. The hard work is worth it in the end. Flying is a lot of fun once you learn.
