Dr. Kevin Jones

Dr. Kevin Jones is a Dissertation Chair with Capitol Technology University. With over 15 years of experience in the occupational health and safety field, Dr. Jones is a seasoned and versatile safety expert. Prior to his retirement from the United States Marine Corps, he served over two decades of active-duty service filled with multiple combat deployments between Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as deployments to Japan and throughout Europe. Following his military retirement, Dr. Jones worked for various organizations in the field of occupational health and safety. During this time, he provided support for a multitude of critical domestic initiatives spanning multiple industries such as construction, nuclear operations, government, coal, and gas. Dr. Jones held several leadership positions in the field of environmental/occupational health and safety at his previous employers. 

Dr. Jones earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational Health and Safety from Capitol Technology University, and holds several certifications and designations from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Additionally, he is also a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
