Dr. Ellis D. Colvin is a Dissertation Chair with Capitol Technology University. Dr. Colvin is U.S. Army veteran and a national security and defense expert with over four decades of U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) credentials. He possesses an extensive background in science and technology, research, AI/ML, data and supply chain risk management applications, and business and procurement. Additionally, he is a corporate finance and law practitioner.

Dr. Colvin has successfully led large and complex enterprise organizations, with the knowledge and expertise needed to manage major networks, as well as developed roadmaps, built coalitions, and used excellent communication skills to leverage partners and establish critical stakeholder relationships.

Dr. Colvin is a Ph.D. graduate of Capitol Technology University, holds a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from the Charleston School of Law, and earned three master’s degrees.
