Associate Professor, Adjunct in Information Assurance / Cyber Security, Capitol University since 2002.  Owner, Information Assurance Engineer & Subject Matter Expert, Applied Solutions Group.  Over 30 years of experience with a wide breadth and depth of technical expertise in the areas of voice and data network operations, architecture, engineering, training, professional development and security in government and commercial organizations.  Management and security consultant providing assessment and mitigation strategies to executive leaders in a wide range of business sector organizations.  I have lead diversified training organizations in developing technical skills training programs for over 80 occupational specialties including vehicle & equipment repairers, recovery operators and voice and data terrestrial and satellite communications systems operations.  Currently a senior subject matter expert consultant engaged in risk / vulnerability assessments in the commercial sector for Critical Infrastructure companies and subject matter expert for Information Assurance and Certification and Accreditation (DITSCAP) activities supporting the DoD Military Health System.  Current technical certifications include:  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information System Control (CRISC), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in each of the National Information Assurance Training Standards (Advanced Level as applicable), Certified in National Security Agency Vulnerability Assessment Methodology (IAM) and by the US Army as an Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO), Licensed by Sandia National Labs in the Risk Assessment Methodology for Dams and Transmission Systems (RAM-D & RAM-T).
