Add to your major with a minor in computer science, use coding skills to solve society’s problems.
Computers power the world. From how you communicate, shop and do your banking via a cellphone, to how scientists conduct weather forecasting, cancer research and so much more with supercomputers.
Through select courses, students will learn the basics of programming using two languages, Java and C, along with essential analytical skills used by industry professionals. Explore database management, understand data structures, and get comfortable with algorithms with guidance from our expert faculty.
Due to the similar nature of required courses, students in Computer Engineering and Computer Science majors will not be eligible to apply to the Computer Science minor.
