Melvin Greer
Board Member
Melvin Greer leads data science and analytics programs across multiple business areas at Intel. His systems and software engineering experience has yielded multiple patented inventions in the arenas of cloud computing, synthetic biology, and IoT biosensors. Prior to joining Intel, Greer was at Lockheed Martin, where he spearheaded cyber, cloud computing, and IOT support for the Department of Defense, DISA, civilian agencies, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Greer is the founder and managing director of the Greer Institute for Leadership and Innovation, which is focused on research and development of a leadership model for the 21st century. He is a member of the IMF/World Bank Bretton Woods Committee, where he explores technology’s impact on development, commerce, financial stability, and social responsibility. Greer has been awarded the BEYA Technologist of the Year award, recognizing his outstanding technical contribution and technical products that have a broad impact and high value to society as a whole.
