Notre Dame of Maryland University, Capitol Technology University Partner to Fast Track More Students into High-demand Engineering Careers
University Presidents to Ceremonially Sign Joint Agreement Enabling Students to Earn STEM Degree from NDMU, Engineering Degree from Capitol Tech
WHAT:
Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) and Capitol Technology University are partnering to increase the number of students entering high-demand engineering careers, with a fast-track option to earn two bachelor’s degrees in five years which will save students valuable time and money.
The new partnership between the two universities enables STEM students to earn their first degree in three years at Notre Dame (physics, mathematics, chemistry, or computer information systems) and a second degree in one of four engineering programs at Capitol Tech (astronautical and space engineering; electrical engineering; mechatronics and robotics engineering; or software engineering).
WHO:
NDMU President Marylou Yam and Capitol Tech President Bradford Sims will participate in a ceremonial signing of the joint agreement.
