What I’ve learned from working with Capitol Students: I've learned that our students are passionate, motivated, and excited about all the possibilities that await them. I've never been on a campus where students have so many hands-on opportunities and fun doing what they love to do! It's amazing!
My advice to someone applying to Capitol: Always remember, education is a journey and not a race! Take your time, pace yourself, and embrace all the new experiences and challenges that lie ahead. We believe in you! Go and be great!
What I love most about Capitol: I love the small environment and opportunity to create big partnerships with our faculty, staff, and especially our students!

What I’ve learned from working with Capitol Students: You'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish in a day if you optimize your time down to the last second.
My advice to someone applying to Capitol: Talk to an admissions counselor, and feel free to reach out to me. I have had many conversations with students who know they want to code or major in a STEM field but really can't determine which one. A lot of times, I make suggestions based on our conversation, which usually ends with me sending them the curriculum and explaining how it could align with their goals. I'm a first-generation college graduate; if you find yourself in the same boat, definitely reach out for any questions. I know from first-hand experience how intimidating and daunting processes can be; definitely use me as a resource.
What I love most about Capitol: The curriculum. On the website, you can read about how in-depth and hands-on the curriculum is structured. When I talk about Capitol, I emphasize how, from day one, you're already building your foundation and doing really cool projects in your freshman and sophomore years, and how the hands-on approach really puts you ahead of the curve.

What I've learned from working with Capitol Students: There is so much potential in our students that could change lives. They just need a strong support their dreams and I'm proud to be part of that support.
My Advice to someone applying to Capitol: No matter who you are, you can't do things alone. Here at Capitol, you'll find someone that will open doors to opportunities you wouldn't have opened alone.
What I love most about Capitol: I love that Capitol is different with not only their career focused curriculum, but also how they don't let their small size be a weakness. It's a strength, as the small size creates connection with each other's so we all can be the best we can be.
